Our Governance

The Smart Ticketing Alliance (STA) was established in 2015 by three prominent European ticketing standards organizations:
Calypso Networks Association, ITSO, and VDV eTicket Service. Joining them were the French Transport Innovation Agency (AIT, formerly AFIMB/MINT) and the International Association of Public Transport (UITP).

These founding members continue to play an active role in our organization today.
